How am I Paid?

You are paid for the number of hours you work, and on the same schedule as all employees of the College: on a bi-weekly basis (every two weeks).

You have the option of signing up for direct deposit or having your paychecks mailed to you. For direct deposits, funds are deposited to your authorized account by Friday morning. For paper checks, your paycheck will be mailed on Friday afternoon. For all holidays that fall on Friday, and during the entire month of July, paychecks are mailed on Monday.

Your work-study hours are submitted to the College's Payroll Department every Wednesday. If you are working on-campus (Lynn or Danvers) your FWS Job Supervisor submits your hours directly to the College's Payroll Department. If you are working off-campus, your FWS Job Supervisor submits your hours to Student Financial Services, which in turn submits this information to the college’s Payroll Department.

Important! If you have any questions about your payroll check please contact Barbara Plummer in the the College’s payroll department (and not Financial Aid).

For more information, contact us at (978) 762-4189 or (781) 477-2191 or fin-aid@northshore.edu.
