Exit Loan Counseling

The federal government requires any student that graduates, withdraws, stops attending or has dropped below 6 credits and has borrowed federal loans to complete Exit Loan Counseling. The counseling session provides important information about loan repayment and your responsibilities as a borrower. You would complete the counseling session at www.studentloans.gov.

North Shore Community College also subscribes to SALT. This is a program run by American Student Assistance (ASA) to help students with loan repayment, money management and scholarship searches just to name a few of their services. This service is free to all NSCC students and can be used at any time. The website is www.saltmoney.org.
