NSCC'S English as a Second Language Department aims to provide non-native speakers of English with skills necessary for their professional and academic advancement. Using both traditional and communicative teaching methods and providing a supportive environment, the ESL department assists students as they work towards the level of linguistic competence necessary for their participation in the local and global community.
