Dual Enrollment

We are no longer accepting Dual Enrollment Applications for the Summer 2011 Semester. High School students wishing to take college level courses can apply through the STEP Program.

 

Summary

Dual Enrollment is for eligible high school students who want to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously by taking courses at North Shore Community College.

 

Application Process

Step 1: Complete NSCC's Computerized Placement Test (CPT). No appointment is necessary; test is given on a walk-in basis. For more information contact the hotline at (978) 762-4000 x5429 or (781) 593-6722 x5429, or visit CAS online.


Step 2: Complete the Dual Enrollment Application form with your high school guidance counselor. Include the In-state Tuition Eligibility Form.


Step 3: Make an appointment with an academic counselor for an application review. Bring the completed application materials.

Step 4: Attend a New Student Registration and Orientation session. For a schedule and more information contact the Student & Advising Center at (978) 762-4036 or (781) 477-2132.

Please Note: NSCC will review applications to determine eligibility. Students not eligible for Dual Enrollment may enter the College's STEP Program.



 

Cost

The Dual Enrollment Program is FREE to selected students for one class. Students may register for more and pay the expenses out-of-pocket.
