The African Society is a forum where African students can socialize, network, exchange ideas and learn about the American culture. Members also learn leadership skills that will enable them to become productive members of their communities.

Participated in the Multi-Cultural Fair by showcasing a number of countries as well as performing traditional dances.
The mission of B'GLAD is to provide effective communication between and among students, faculty and staff of the college regarding bisexual, gay, lesbian and transgender issues. It serves to provide awareness, education and support as well as facilitating the socialization of its members within the college.

The Multicultural Society is a student organization that helps celebrate student heritage, ethnicity, language, nationality and diversity at NSCC Members strive for understanding and respect by working together, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

20 student members and 24 graduates who are active in the organization.
Activities:
To help Muslim students better their religious activities as a complete way of life, mobilize against injustice and oppression, increase Islamic awareness, and clear up misconceptions through education and understanding.

Activities:
Members work in conjunction with local mosques and other community organizations, and have collaborated with NSCC's Multi-Cultural Society and the Forum on Tolerance Committee.
This club helps students further their education on learning a second language by creating dialectic between the vast cultures of students who attend North Shore Community College.

Activities:
Attended a Flamenco performance at Wellspring in Medford. Hosted a variety of cultural dinners on campus and at local restaurants.
The Women's Center works to enhance the lives of women through education, social and inspirational events, and meetings. It works to provide information and valuable resources on important issues including, but not limited to, domestic violence, career opportunities, health concerns and child care issues.

Sponsors speakers and workshops; has collaborated with Resources Against Violence, a domestic violence education and referral group on campus. Participated in a Breast Cancer Walk and collected items for veterans' organizations.
