Developmental Disabilities
Mission
The Developmental Disabilities Program will inspire students to be advocates, caring direct support professionals and creative program designers in their work with individuals of all ages who have developmental disabilities. Incorporating current research and innovative teaching strategies, the curriculum prepares students for these goals through academic coursework, skill training, self exploration, and field placements. The program further encourages each student to discover his/her special talents in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities who are striving to be contributing and valued members of society.
Programs of Study
