Business
Mission
The North Shore Community College Business Department is designed to educate students in their selected major of Accounting, Management, or Marketing, or to prepare them for transfer to a four-year school via the Business Transfer Program.
The faculty will facilitate development of interpersonal skills and will promote an understanding of the ethical issues of the business environment; skills which will enhance the student's self-esteem and foster the student's personal growth.
Programs of Study
A high school diploma, GED, or passing score on a
federally approved Ability To Benefit Test is required for admission
to all programs. Contact the Admissions Office
for more information.

"....Money is still flowing in, new products are still being developed, companies are still hiring, and research-and-development is still happening. It's these areas that offer entrepreneurs, their employees, and their investors opportuntites to have an impact - and earn a return - even in gloomy times."
Even in difficult times, entrepreneurs will emerge. Scott Kirsner; October 5, 2008. Boston Sunday Globe
