The MCAS Pathways program provides students in need of a high school competency determination with intense and focused academic support. Students from Lynn and surrounding communities participate on-site at NSCC's Lynn campus.

TRIO/Upward Bound and TRIO/Talent Search programs reach the Lynn schools to encourage and support postsecondary attendance for non-traditional and potential first generation college students.

The Adult Learning Center, supported by the Massachusetts Department of Education, assists area adults with basic literacy skills, GED preparation, and workforce readiness preparation. NSCC's GED Test Center tests over 500 adults each year, many of whom continue on to enroll at NSCC.
