New Biotechnology Certificate Program for Fall 2008:
The Biotechnology Certificate is a one-year laboratory science intensive program which is designed to prepare students and retrain professionals for entry into the field of biotechnology. The curriculum provides both the theoretical background and practical hands-on laboratory training needed for entry-level positions in the biotechnology industry.
Admissions Information:
Algebra and biology at the high school or college level, and mathematics and communications proficiencies are required for admission to this program.
Admissions to this certificate program occurs only in the Fall semester.
Students wishing to complete this certificate in one year should enter the program after successful completion of MAT092, or after achieving an equivalent score on the math placement test.
