SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT-ENTREPRENEURSHIP CERTIFICATE
The Small Business Management - Entrepreneurship 28-credit program offers the knowledge and skills needed to start a new business venture, contribute to a growing enterprise, identify new business opportunities, and/or successfully operate a small company. Students in this program will learn all the components of running an entrepreneurial venture or small business, including planning, organizing, leading and controlling all aspects of a small business organization. They will also develop strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and effective communication strategies. Students will learn how to utilize computer technology to gather and interpret data to make informed business decisions, as well as ways to effectively respond to internal and external dynamics of the small business environment.

Program Information-
Program of StudyACCOUNTING CERTIFICATE
The Accounting Certificate, a program which has been approved eligible for federal financial aid, is a 27-credit training program for students interested in an accounting career in any business environment. It is structured for those who are either new to accounting or wish to update their skills. The program focuses on financial accounting including coursework regarding managerial accounting and taxation. Specialized training is also provided in Excel, Quickbooks, and individual tax software.
Although the certificate program may be completed within 12 months, many Accounting Certificate students may also enroll in the regular versions of these courses over multiple semesters.
